Music Ministries

Adult Choir,   Cantors / Psalmists,  Children’s Choir,  Contemporary Choir Youth Choir

Ministry           Music--Adult Choir

To sing contemporary and classical music for one Mass each weekend, Holy Day Masses and other liturgies throughout the year.

Gifts Desired:  A pleasant voice and the ability to work with others.

Commitment:   Weekly rehearsals, Thursdays 7:00 – 8:30 PM and participation as scheduled.

Opportunity:    To use your talents to praise God and lead the congregation in praising Him.

Ministry           Music—Cantors / Psalmists

To lead the congregation in song and to proclaim the psalms.

Gifts Desired:  A strong voice and the ability to assume a leadership role in worship.

Commitment:   Weekly rehearsal, Thursdays at 6:30 PM and ministering at Mass as scheduled.

Opportunity:    To teach new liturgical music to the congregation and lead them in song.

Ministry           Music—Youth Choirs

To provide music for occasional parish Masses, including Confirmation, Christmas Eve, Easter Sunday, World Youth Day, and other liturgies throughout the year.

Gifts Desired:  The ability to sing or play an instrument and to work with others

Commitment:   Weekly rehearsals and masses as scheduled.

Opportunity:   To use your talents to praise God and lead the congregation in song.

 Ministry           Music--Contemporary Choir

To provide music in a contemporary ensemble for one Mass each weekend, Holy Day Masses, and other liturgies throughout the year.

Gifts Desired: The ability to sing or play an instrument and to work with others.

Commitment:   Weekly rehearsals, Wednesdays 6:30-8:00 PM with sectionals as needed and participation as scheduled.

Opportunity:    To use your talents to praise God and lead the congregation in praise.
